BLOG -- Recap of August

Work-wise, August was really brutal for me. Two of my team-mates took their vacation right after each other, so for the first half, I felt kinda pressured to make sure I don't get sick or anything. And then there were a ton of projects due around the same day... I think it was really stressing me out. Then the second half rolled around and things kinda got better. Work was still busy and stressful, but things just kinda seemed more bearable. I don't really know how to describe it. I feel... kinda at peace, hahaha. Haven't really felt at peace for a long time, so I welcome it with open arms! :D

Outings/Events in August:
- Stayed over at my sister's place x2.

- Had a belated birthday celebration with friends x2.

- Experienced a room escape game for the first time.

- Had a gaming day with my sister and friends x2.

- Got sunburns from this months' work BBQ event thing. *sigh*

- Started re-listening to Glay. I want to share my newest favourite song of theirs, but it's not uploaded anywhere. :( I know I've said this before, but I will totally blog about them one day! <3

- Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn achievements / news:
-I finally got my bard on my main character to level 60. Took me long enough, haha.
-I won my first pony on my main character, woot! It's Shiva's pony.

Exposures:
- (Restaurant) Zakkushi -- This is a yummy izakaya. Hopefully I'll be able to go back there.

Finished...
Watching:
- (Movie): Ant-Man -- It was a really fun movie. The ants made me squirm though, haha.

- (Movie): The Grand Budapest Hotel (x2) -- I had no idea what to expect from this movie. All I heard was that it was good and had gratuitous violence. I found it super-fun, funny, and ridiculous. Lovely music, too. I highly recommend it.

- (Movie): Before Midnight -- This is the sequel to Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. There were some interesting conversations here, but it was also a bit difficult to watch at some points. I ended up sympathizing with the main guy character a lot.

- (Movie): A Thousand Acres -- I watched this for Colin Firth. Unfortunately, I found it to be a blah movie. I couldn't really connect with any character. And just like with Circle of Friends, I didn't like Colin Firth's character, lol.

- (Movie): Vampire Academy -- This is my second time watching it. I guess anybody watching this objectively would say it sucks, and yes, it does get pretty cheesy and rushed at times... but I still find enjoyment from it. I guess it's one of my guilty pleasures, lol.

- (Anime): Say "I love you." -- The pacing can get kinda slow sometimes, but I enjoyed this. There were a lot of sweet, sometimes breathtaking moments (at least for me), and I could relate to the main girl character.

Playing:
- (PS4): Home - A Unique Horror Adventure -- I thought this was pretty neat, though really short. It's more an exploratory experience than anything -- with lots of text. The way the story got pieced together was interesting, though.

- (PS4): The Walking Dead: Season 2 (Telltale Games)

Reading:
- (Novel): Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead -- It's kinda embarrassing to say that watching the movie drove me to try reading the novel. Simply, I enjoyed it. I like that Rose is a bada** character, despite her flaws (and she has the same first name as me!).

- (Novel): Frost Bite by Richelle Mead -- This is the 2nd book to the Vampire Academy series. I can't believe I finished it as quickly as I did. I wish this got turned into a movie.

Currently...
Playing (not all at once):
- (PS3): Borderlands 2
- (3DS): Bravely Default
- (3DS): Liberation Maiden
- (3DS): Fantasy Life
- (3DS): Senran Kagura Burst
- (3DS): Pokemon Rumble (stopped this 'cuz I never really went back to it after the first 2 sessions)
- (GBA): The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition
- (PSP): Persona
- (PSP): Crush
- (PSVita): Persona 4 Golden
- (Wii): Fortune Street
- (PS2): Atelier Iris 2
- (PC): UnEpic
- (PC): King's Bounty: The Legend
- (Mobile): Dragon Quest

Watching:
- (TV Show): The Walking Dead (Season 5)
- (TV Show): Orphan Black (Season 3)
- (Anime): Yu Yu Hakusho (don't remember)
- (Anime): Shakugan no Shana (Season 1 -- Episode 19)
- (Anime): Log Horizon (episode 3)
- (Anime): K-On! Season 2 (episode 3)
- (Anime): Mawaru - Penguindrum (episode 3)

Reading:
- (Novel): Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead (Book 3 of the Vampire Academy series)

That's it for August. Here's a few pics I took this month.

Salmon Sashimi from Zakkushi. It was really fresh. It reminded me
of the sashimi I had while in Japan.

One of the games I played at one of the Gaming Days. I know
I posted a pic like this in earlier entries. It's Ticket to Ride. So fun, lol.

I got it I got it I got it!!!!! I mentioned really wanting the Mushi-Shi Season 1 OST
in my "Christmas" Wishlist entry, but that it was long out-of-print and expensive.
Either it was by coincidence or somebody out there was listening to me,
'cuz it got re-printed about 6 months after my blog.
I am so happy to have it in my hands! <3 No more worries about what
I'd do if Youtube suddenly took down all the music tracks, lol.

Thanks for reading! My next weekly blog will be delayed since that will be my Fan Expo blog -- and there's no way I'd be able to finish that on Sunday. As always, feel free to comment if you have anything to say, and have a good rest of the week! :)

BLOG -- Limited / Collector's Editions -- A Few Random Thoughts

So I'm kinda feeling... not well today, so this entry will be short (why, whyyy do I feel this when it's days before Fan Expo??!! >_<''). I just want to share some random thoughts that have been on my mind for a while. NOTE: This might not be very interesting for you.

This all started one day when my friend told me that Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (the first game) was on sale on the Playstation Store. He suggested that I buy it digitally so I could play it that way and keep my physical copy of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Limited Edition sealed -- and to retain its... um... current re-sale value. On ebay, the special edition (sealed) is currently listed for $170-ish $270-ish CAD. I told him I'd think about it, and shortly after a whole bunch of thoughts started to flood into my mind:

Should I really buy the digital version and keep my limited edition sealed to sell off in the future? When I buy limited editions, I usually buy them to keep... and I want to go through all the goodies! So there's no point in me keeping it sealed if I'm not planning to sell it... and there's no point in me buying it digitally unless I love the game that much or I really want to support the publisher... the only time I would sell a limited edition is if I bought an extra copy or I don't like the game after trying it out, which would mean it's already opened -- but I'm sure I'll like this one... so...

This situation really did make me wonder for a while why I sometimes purchased limited editions. Of course it is so I could go through all the goodies! Sometimes I do buy extra copies of limited editions, and when I do, it's either to try selling it in the future or to give it to a friend who may really want it. But when I only buy one copy, it's not reserved for anybody else but me! Hahaha ^_~.

In the end, as you may have guessed from my thoughts, I didn't buy Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc digitally. My limited edition is still sealed, but when I get around to playing it, I will open it.

When / If you buy limited editions, what do you usually do with them?

For fun, here is one of my most treasured limited editions: Persona 3 Konamistyle Special Edition (was released only in Japan. I love the bag, lol).

Thanks for reading! See you again soon when I post up my end-of-August blog tomorrow, hahaha. Till then and have a good rest of the weekend!

BLOG -- Pre-Fan Expo Canada 2015 Excitement

Well, Fan Expo Canada is coming up in two weeks. I am both looking forward to it and slightly dreading it. I'm looking forward to it because I often feel more "at home" here than most other places (even though I still tend to keep to myself). I dread it because of all the walking I know I'll be doing while I'm there, hahaha.

Anywho, the schedule for Fan Expo Canada is now available, and I figured I'd blog about it. Looking through it, I already know I won't be able to attend everything I want to attend. Sometimes, I think this is one of the funnest and toughest things for conventions: just figuring out your own itinerary. When you see multiple panels / events running at the same time, just how would you decide which one to attend? If you have to start lining up for a panel but you still want to browse the Dealers room or stay wherever you are, what do you do?

Last year, I focused almost all of my time in the Artists Alley (just throwing my wallet in that general area, hahaha). It wasn't a bad experience, but this year I'm hoping to balance things out and get my butt to more panels.

Events / Panels I'm Hoping to Attend
BUILD A GAMEBOY PLUSHIE -- I'm very bad at crafts, but this just sounds cute.

ANIME ACCORDING TO AMVS -- I'm not really sure what this panel would be about. If it's an hour of showcasing awesome anime music videos (AMVs), I'm all for it.

CALLING ALL GHOST HUNTERS -- Supposedly this would be a panel about learning how to listen to paranormal cues, communicating with spirits with flashlights, and the such. I don't know if I would really want to know this (it might just make me very paranoid -- whether it's truthful stuff or not), but...

CASUAL TAXIDERMY -- I went What the heck?? when I saw this listed. It's listed as part of the Horror convention, but still... who would think of having a panel for this? Hahaha.

PATHOS & PROBABILITY: WRITING ADVENTURE GAMES -- I don't think I can really get through this convention without attending at least one writing-related panel.

HORROR DEBATE: SHOULD ZOMBIES HAVE RIGHTS? -- My sister really wants me to attend this. I'm pretty curious what points would be made on this topic as well.

TAROT CARDS 101 -- A friend once told me that there isn't really a standard way of reading tarot cards -- that you define and interpret the cards the way it speaks to you. Soo... I might actually not attend this one, hahaha. I guess I'll see when the time comes.

CELEBRITY Q&A WITH GILLIAN ANDERSON -- I really enjoyed her Q&A the last time she was at Fan Expo, so I'm definitely attending this. The only downside is I'll probably spend over an hour just waiting in line for this, to make sure I can get in.

Events / Panels I Wish to Attend but Probably Can't
SCARY STORIES -- I'm curious what kind of stories would be told.

ASK THE EMBALMER -- This was another panel that made me go What the heck??

HOW TO GET INVOLVED IN TORONTO VIDEO GAME CULTURE -- I almost don't want to attend this, fearful of hearing what I think would be said: be social; make connections. I'm terrible at both things, and I personally don't like / believe in the latter (I don't feel right with it). If I really did hear those, my dream of one day making a video game would be crushed. :'(

AT LEAST ONE SKETCH DUEL -- I haven't attended a sketch duel in a long time. I totally want to see one this year! Hahaha.

Autographs I'm Hoping to Get
Amazingly, I have no celebrities on my gotta-get-an-autograph-from list. At least not right now. I would think about getting Norman Reedus' autograph and maybe Tom Felton's autograph, but I don't want to imagine the lonnng line-ups for those two. I would also say Gillian Anderson, but I got her autograph the last time she came.

My Shopping List
I think the only retail things I'd get if they're decently priced are the Yakitate!! Japan DVDs (the series finally got licensed -- woot!) and video game artbooks. Other than that, I'll probably still spend most of my money at Artists Alley, particularly checking for anything new from certain artists I bought from in the past (if they're attending this year).

Thanks for reading! To those planning to attend Fan Expo this year, what are you looking forward to? If you see something interesting in the schedule, feel free to suggest it to me. If it doesn't conflict with anything, I may try checking it out. Only thing to keep in mind is that I usually leave the convention latest around 8 PM to go home. Maybe one year I'll indulge myself and actually book a hotel for the convention.

BLOG -- My First Real-Life Room Escape Game Experience

Soooo... this past Sunday evening (which is why this blog is late), I had my first room escape experience -- and it was totally fun!

For those who don't know, a room escape is this kind of game that places a group of people in a room or series of rooms, and they have a set amount of time to solve puzzles and either find a way out of the room or try to finish whatever objectives are given.

Ever since I played this flash game (many, many years ago) called "Crimson Room" (I would embed a link here, but I don't know what the official link is anymore -- and if the official link even works), and then its "sequels" "Viridian Room", "Blue Chamber", and "White Chamber", I've had this sort of fascination with room escape games. It kinda makes me think 'What can I use that's present to get out of a situation? Can I figure a way out?' It was only recently that I found out real-life room escape games existed -- and when an opportunity presented itself to participate in one (and with people I was comfortable with), I took it.

The Little Details
Day: Sunday August 16, 2015
Time: 7:15 PM
Place: Escape Games Toronto (11 Kodiak Crescent, Toronto, Ontario)
Room / Mission: The Haunting of Noriko (7-12 players)
# of People in My Group: 10
Time Limit: About 1 hour
Admission (per person): $22

Now... I can't really give much detail since I don't want to spoil the experience for anybody, but I will give some kind of overview.

In short, it was a very enjoyable experience. However, since our room was themed "The Haunting of Noriko", I was also very creeped out. Even though some people in my group were kinda expecting more horror elements, I thought what they had was enough to establish an unnerving atmosphere. For certain areas I had my hand up just to block my vision from some of the elements. The unnerving atmosphere also kinda stuck with me for a while after the game ended.

I was pleasantly surprised that we got to explore more than one room, though I couldn't really bring myself to go off exploring on my own. I was just too scared! Hahaha.

Another thing I enjoyed was the amount of puzzles that called for teamwork. I mean, this particular room called for a fairly large group. I think it would be pretty sucky if a group was there to do puzzles could actually be done solo.

It is embarrassing to say... but I screamed once. After watching a couple people solve one of the puzzles, something near me fell and made a huge sound. Haha, jump scare! Hahaha... >_<'''

I can happily say that I contributed to solving at least one puzzle.

Unfortunately, we didn't succeed since we ran out of time. However, since we were on the last puzzle and were on the right track to solving it, we were shown the ending. I'd like to call this the "Consolation Ending", hahaha. I imagine that if we were nowhere close to beating it, we wouldn't have been shown anything (so we'd be able to go back and try again).

One thing I will always remember is while being briefed by a staff member, a loud scream came from one of the rooms. We laughed, as well as the staff member.

All in all, it was a really fun experience and I would totally do it again.

Thanks for reading! If you have any comments / questions, feel free. However, please try to refrain from any kind of spoilers (if you wanted to talk spoilers) for other people's sakes. Have a good rest of the week!

REVIEW/THOUGHTS [VIDEO GAME] -- The Walking Dead: Season 2 (Telltale Games)

Playthrough Status: COMPLETED ONCE
Approx. Length: 9 hours (about 1.5-2 hours per chapter; 5 chapters total)
Language: English
Played on: PS4 (Digital download)
Also Available for: PS3, XBox 360, PSVita, Xbox One, PC, OS X, iOS, Android
Type of Game: Point-and-Click; Choose-Your-Own-Adventure; Puzzle; Horror
Overall Impression: It's much shorter than The Walking Dead: Season 1, but still worth a playthrough for the story and characters.

SPOILER ALERT WARNING!!
This review will contain some spoilers -- or rather, there will be a "Spoilers" section at the end of the review to go into further detail about certain things. There may still be slight spoilers throughout the review, but I've tried my best to keep them at a minimum.

PERSONAL STANDING (Pre-exposures, thoughts, etc.)
I really enjoyed playing The Walking Dead: Season 1, so I was really looking forward to playing this. Buuut -- just like with Season 1, I patiently waited for all episodes to be released before picking it up. (Then I lost my soul to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and didn't get around to playing it till this past week). I was really curious if it would continue from Season 1 or if it would be a whole new story.

For anybody who is curious, here is my review of The Walking Dead: Season 1: http://ironixgirl.blogspot.ca/2013/01/reviewthoughts-video-game-walking-dead.html

Also, here is my review of The Walking Dead: 400 Days DLC (for Season 1):
http://ironixgirl.blogspot.ca/2013/07/reviewthoughts-video-game-dlc-walking.html

I should mention that throughout the review, I'll be comparing to Season 2 to Season 1 since they are very similar. However, I won't mention anything that would spoil Season 1's story.

STORY
I'm not going to say much here -- just that it continues from Season 1. And that the story, although not as goal-driven as Season 1, is well written.

For me, I'm really happy that Season 2 and Season 1 are connected. I often wonder what happens to some characters after a game ends. And I was really wondering about that for Season 1.

I'll mention a mind-blowing thought about a certain scene in the "Spoilers" section. Well, it was mind-blowing to me.

One neat thing about Season 2 is that if you have played through Season 1, you would be able to import Season 1's save file, so that your choices and outcomes from Season 1 will be referenced in Season 2. I think that really adds a personal touch to each player's gameplay experience.

I should mention that the Season 1 save file has to be for the same platform as Season 2. So a PS4 Season 1 save file can be imported over to Season 2 on the PS4. Since I played through Season 1 on the PS3, I let the game randomly determine those choices for me. Thankfully, it looked like they selected a lot of the same choices I made in Season 1, at least from what I can remember.

GAMEPLAY
Just like in Season 1, the gameplay is made up of point-and-click interactions, quick-time events, puzzle-solving, and making choices. It worked well in Season 1 and it works well here.

TYPICAL GAMEPLAY FLOW
Since Season 2's gameplay flow is exactly the same as Season 1, I'll lift this section straight from my Season 1 review (with a couple text tweaks):

"At the beginning of each chapter, some cutscenes are played and then you will get placed in some kind of situation -- either internal (something happening within the group) or external (something happening elsewhere). From there, it will be a mix of point-and-click exploration, talking with the other characters, quick-time events, solving puzzles, and making choices.

After you meet your objective (whatever it may be), more cutscenes are shown and the whole cycle starts over again. At the end of the chapter, you'll be presented with stats of your major choices and how it compares to everybody else who's played The Walking Dead: Season 2. I will show my stats in the "Spoilers" section."

DIFFICULTY/GAMEPLAY LENGTH
Compared to Season 1, Season 2 is much shorter and the difficulty is wayyyy easier. I did not die once while playing through Season 2. Either I'm getting better with quick-time events, or the game is more forgiving. I'm... thinking it's the latter. There also seems to be a lot less puzzles in Season 2, which could be part of the reason for the shorter gameplay length. Also, there was a lot less item experimentation in Season 2 when trying to solve puzzles. If I remember correctly, there was one time in Season 1 where I had the option to try opening a car door with a pillow (the dialogue that came from that was kinda amusing). Season 2 was more cut-and-dry on how things could be solved.

THE INTENSITY OF CHOICE-MAKING
It was intense when making choices in Season 1 and Season 2 is no different. In fact, I almost find the choices in Season 2 more intense sometimes, where the consequences are heavier and / or more grim. Season 2 follows the same setup as Season 1, where making choices are timed. And just like in Season 1, sometimes you have a fair amount of time to make your choice -- sometimes you don't. Sometimes, the timer would go down so fast for me that I can't even think about the possible implications and make the choice that's closest to my style.

Lifted from my Season 1 review: "While choices don't always affect the end result, they do affect the characters and how they might treat you later on or what they will do or say."

I'll mention how I generally played / made my choices in the "Spoilers" section.

The game hinting that Troy might remember whatever choice you just made.
As a side note, I got a kick out of that particular message.
I think those who have played the game may understand why. If you play it,
you may understand, too. ;)

CHARACTERS/VOICE-ACTING
Compared to Season 1, I think there are a lot more characters in Season 2. Unfortunately, I didn't like too many of them. I thought more of them were jerks or just plain unlikeable. From the characters who are first introduced in Season 2, my favourites are Luke, Jane, Sarah, Matthew, and Walter. I'll mention more about the characters in the "Spoilers" section.

VOICE-ACTING
Just like in Season 1, the voice-acting is great. It really adds more flavour and personality to each character.

GORY GRAPHICS
Just like in Season 1, there are a lot of bloody, graphic moments in Season 2. I actually think they really pushed it this time for some of those scenes. Unfortunately I have no idea how graphic the main character's death scenes are like since I never died (and I don't really want to find out). I'll mention some of the scenes that made me squeamish in the "Spoilers" section (darn me and my empathetic nature).

MUSIC
I honestly don't remember the music at all in the game, so I'm guessing it fit very well. One neat thing I did notice is that each chapter has its own outro song.

STANDALONE?
My short answer is no. Even though you don't have to play through Season 1 to play Season 2, I highly recommend playing through Season 1 to better understand and sympathize with the story and characters. Also... I personally find Season 1 to be the stronger game, so... definitely try to experience that before Season 2.

REPLAYABILITY
I think there is a lot of replayability here, especially for the last chapter (Chapter 5). There are multiple endings in Season 2, and I could only imagine the different responses I'd get based on making different choices. Once you complete a chapter, you can "rewind" to certain parts of it so you don't have to play through the beginning to change a choice.

One major note: On the PS4 version (maybe PS3 as well) of Season 2, there seems to be a bug that doesn't allow you to rewind any chapters. You just end up stuck on a screen with the loading icon. That means if you want to make different choices on the PS4 / PS3 version, you would have to start from the very beginning (Chapter 1). That is actually a big strike in my book, at least for the PS4 / PS3 version (I want to replay Chapter 5 multiple times and don't want to have to play through the first 4 chapters every time). Hopefully it gets fixed.

CLOSING THOUGHTS
The Walking Dead: Season 2 is an engaging and fun game. If you had to choose between either playing Season 2 or Season 1, though, I'd suggest going with Season 1. Then you can decide if you'd like to experience more of that kind of gameplay. I know I did after playing through Season 1.

Thanks for reading! If you have any comments, feel free. And now... to the meat of my review -- my actual experience with the game, which is spoiler-heavy. Also, I have to mention that my spoiler-heavy thoughts will also spoil some of Season 1, so please only have a look if you have played through both games.

So I'll do the scrolly thing and the "Spoilers" section will appear after that. Then I'll add some more scrolly things after the "Spoilers" section in case anybody wants to comment, but not see the spoilers.

SPOILERS

I'll mention a mind-blowing thought about a certain scene...

Okay... so... when Clementine was shot in Chapter 5 and then she "woke up" to an earlier Chapter in Season 1, this thought was going through my head: oh my... Lee's alive! Was she dreaming Season 2 all this time...? ... !!! ... could she also have been dreaming part of Season 1 as well??! Lee might not be dead after all?! I was seriously thinking this, and also thinking, they could do a re-telling of Season 1 and bring Lee back if Season 2 was really a dream... just thinking that really blew my mind, hahaha.

My general gameplay

In my playthrough, I generally played Clementine as nice, honest, forgiving, and trusting. My mindset was: if this was their last day on Earth, show them some kindness and compassion before they go. I think if the zombie apocalypse was truly upon us in real life, I would not survive at all, hahaha...

When Kenny showed up, I often sided with him and gave him the benefit of the doubt. Even though I didn't like him that much until later in Season 1, he was the only connection to the past and I wanted him to feel there was still a family / group-like bond between him and Clementine. However, when it came to siding between him and Jane, it would be split, depending on the situation.

Even though I found some of the choices in Season 2 to carry heavier consequences, I didn't have much difficulty in making my decisions. Often I knew what kind of response I wanted to make. The difficulty / challenge sometimes came in selecting the choice that would best reflect that response. Sometimes I made my choice based off of not wanting to select the other choices.

When I was trying to break the ice in Chapter 5, I kept hitting the ice, even though the other characters kept telling me to stop. I didn't want Luke to die...

Characters

So... well... I really hated Carver. For everything he did, I couldn't forgive him at all. When Kenny had his gun pointed at Carver, I made Clementine say "Shoot him", to the surprise of every other character. I decided in the end to not watch the deed, though. Clementine didn't need to see it -- she just needs to know that he was taken care of.

Out of all the characters, I really liked Jane a lot. I never thought about scavenging through freshly dead walkers for items. Even with her lone wolf-ness (I can totally relate), I wanted to make her feel like she belonged.

I couldn't mention this in the review but I really liked Clementine as well. I liked that she had more of a voice in this game and was able to express more emotions. I really liked her outburst in Chapter 1 after she kills the walker in the shed. It was like she was channeling the same frustrations I had with the other characters just then.

It was too bad that we never get to see Christa again. Does that mean she'll show up in Season 3??? Hahaha... in Season 1, I thought Kenny had died... boy was I wrong.

A little off-tangent: since there were multiple endings in Season 2, would Season 3 really be connected? If it is connected and they pull it off nicely, I'll tip my hat to Telltale, since I think that would involve a tonnn of programming and clever storytelling to somehow bring the multiple endings into one story path.

When it came to choosing what to do between Kenny and Jane in Chapter 5, I think I would naturally save Jane every time. I don't think I could ever feel justified in taking somebody's life because that person wasn't able to save another. Of course I would eventually choose the other route just to see what happens, but my gut would always side with Jane in that situation. It's too bad about Kenny -- I really wanted to help him get through his sadness.

I mentioned Matthew was one of my favourite characters in Season 2 because I think he would have been a cool character. If only Nick didn't shoot him... *sigh*.

My stats for each chapter

I'll mention some of the scenes that made me squeamish...

Scene #1: Suturing the bite -- Oh my... I was squirming so much when I did this. I could really feel Clementine's pain, especially since her voice expressed it so genuinely. It's embarrassing to say, but I hyperventilated a number of times throughout the scene.

Scene #2: Killing the dog -- I knew it had to be done, given its situation. That didn't make it any easier. I wonder what would have happened if I didn't feed him...

Scene #3: Killing Nick -- I think they just wanted to make killing Nick gory, making Clementine accidentally lop the side of his head before making the deadly strike.

Scene #4: Seeing Kenny's "work" on Carver -- Ugh... eeee... I didn't really need to see that...

There's probably more but that's all I could think of so far.

If you read my spoilers, thank for reading them! Now to finish with more scrolly things. Feel free to comment :D
