BLOG -- Recap of May

This month really flew by. Even now I can't believe that it's May 31st. Where has all the time gone??! Well, I know a lot of it went to work. Most of the other time went to either watching X-Files (see how far I am now compared to my April blog!), playing Persona 5 (100+ hours in and I'm just starting the 5th dungeon), and then actually hanging out just a bit.

Overall May was not so bad... but I am so exhausted, hahaha.

Outings/Events in May:

- Hung out with friends overall x6

- Attended Braeden Mitchell's live performance with a friend. It was really good!

- Attended a hockey game with a friend (Marlies vs. Crunch -- Marlies won! [2-1])

- Played Dark Souls: The Board Game with friends for the first time.

- Had a dentist appointment *sniffle* :(.

- Attended mass for the third time (any future attendances will no longer be listed).


- Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn achievements / news: 
-My subscription is still expired. I can't believe the expansion is coming up so soon. I still need to pre-order it!

- Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius achievements / news: 
-My rank is currently 95 (yay I can leave the game alone for 8 hours 45 mins)
-I was lucky to get Rem and Reberta from the last featured banners
-I got Dual Wield, the first TMR I kinda put effort into grinding, yay!

Exposures:

- (Board Game): Dark Souls: The Board Game -- So this took a long time to set up and we didn't play it properly the first time -- I'm not the best at reading the rules, lol. I'll blog about the experience sometime when we actually play it properly.

Watching:

- (Movie): The X-Files: Fight the Future -- Finally the questions I had between the end of Season 5 and the start of Season 6 were answered. Though... this movie is quite cheesy.

- (Movie): Tooken -- I was hoping this would be a more faithful parody of Taken, following the plot and everything, but nope. Tooken was just bad.

- (Movie): Veronica Mars: The Movie -- It was a nice movie that gave an okay closure to the series. Logan is still one of my favourite characters.

BLOG -- Recap of April

So April was a busy time. It was also a sad time, with multiple things ending. I wonder if joyful things will happen in May, to balance out the negativity. *fingers crossed*

Outings/Events in April:

- Hung out with friends x4

- Shopped at HMV before it closed down.

- Got my hair cut. It's very short now :(

- Celebrated my sister's birthday with friends.

- Attended a farewell lunch for a co-worker friend *sniffle* :(

- Played air hockey for the first time. I lost >=/

- Went on a shopping spree during Shoppers Drug Mart's "Points redemption" event. I got a lot of snacks, mmmmm.

- Attended mass for the second time.


- Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn achievements / news: 
-My subscription is still expired, but I took advantage of the free login campaign and got the items for the Easter event.

- Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius achievements / news: 
-My rank is currently 83 (yay I can leave the game alone for 7 hours 45 mins)
-I "whaled" and got Trance Terra, yayyyy!
-I reached 100 kill streaks, yayyyy!

- (Snack): Ghirardelli-themed Krispy Kreme donut -- The kreme filling was much better this time. Minty and not too sweet.

- (Movie): Outbreak -- This was interesting and intense.

- (Movie): Piranha -- Very meh, though I wasn't expecting anything else.

- (Movie): Piranha DD -- Still very meh, but more ridiculous than the first -- and more nudity, bleh.

- (Movie): Phonebooth -- The idea was interesting, but execution was just okay. I had no care for the main character.
