BLOG - Recap of July

I spent most of July in Japan. When I came back, the rest of the month was spent pretty much recovering from jet lag. And watching some movies.

"Outings" / Events in July:
- I went to Japan. Whee! :) The prelude blog should posted this weekend.

Exposures:
- Too many things for me to list. Just wait for my blogs on Japan :)

Finished...
Watching:
- (Movie): Barry Lyndon -- A long movie but slightly amusing.

- (Movie): Scream VI -- It was interesting, but I miss the old characters.

- (Movie): Shazam! -- This was really fun.

- (Movie): M3GAN -- It's as I expected. Just okay.

- (Movie): Avatar -- Maybe it was a technical marvel when it was released, but I thought it was just meh.

- (Movie): Okja -- I was surprised to recognize Paul Dano and Steven Yuen by voice alone. Overall it's nicely shot.

- (Movie): Funny Girl -- Very entertaining and charming.

- (Movie): Escape Room: Tournament of Champions -- It's intense at times, but overall it's just okay. I didn't really like the direction of the story.

Playing:
- (PC): Overcooked! 2 -- I liked that this was easier than the first Overcooked! game, but some stages were still stressful to play.

Reading:
- Nothing this month.

Something I saw while in Japan.

Something I ate while in Japan (the spicy stuff wasn't for me).

The first thing I ate when I came back to Canada.

My early birthday gift to myself. This didn't cost me anything -- I already had enough Saint Quartz to pity her.

"Why Genshin Impact is Worth Your Time" by Zepla HQ.
Zepla's genuity as she talks about her first "encounter" is very adorable.

Thanks for reading!

As usual, if you have any questions / comments about anything, feel free. Any questions about Japan, though, my response will be: "wait for the blogs!"

Have fun, take care, and until next time! :)
