The Yakuza video games are still providing me with much needed comfort and escape from all the stress. I actually just beat Yakuza Kiwami (remake of Yakuza 1) today, and will likely start up Kiwami 2 soon after this post (though I will do my best to pace myself better!).
That video game series... I think it sparked something in me. I'm not really sure what... but I feel something changing. I feel my focuses / desires / priorities shifting a bit...
I don't know if this change will show through my bloggings. I guess we'll see. I do know that I want to change up my blogs so my entries are shorter. This crazy workload isn't letting up... but I'd still like to blog, especially now that I've beaten two video games I wanna gush about crazily! Hahaha.
An update about what's going on in Toronto during this COVID time: Some malls have re-opened a few days ago, and I believe hair salons and some other places have re-opened as well. I heard from a co-worker that one hair salon she used to frequent were already booked up for the next 6 weeks. That's pretty nuts, though good for the hair salon.
"Outings" / Events in June:
- Had a LINE voice chat with a couple friends just yesterday. It was really nice and fun :D- I went out shopping one day this month. I needed to get more shampoo (and some potato chips) and go to the bank. I wore a face mask and disposable gloves, but I was pretty surprised to see many people not wearing a face mask at all... Of the ones I did see wearing face masks, most were store employees.
- Celebrated a team mate's last day before going on Maternity leave. The team had a video chat during the day. I didn't have a webcam so I called in. It was a sad and happy day. :')
- One random day... I just stopped playing a few of my phone games. Stopped logging on even collect the daily rewards. I suspect my shifting focuses / priorities had something to do with this. I haven't deleted the games off my phone on the off-chance I start them up again in the future. I stopped playing Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius, Fate / Grand Order, and Magia Record. I do plan to play SINoAlice as soon as it releases, though (a few more days to go)!!
- Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn achievements / news:
-My subscription expired mid-month. I got a bit farther in the story, but I'm still in the Stormblood expansion.

- (Movie): Pulp Fiction- -- After so many years, I finally get to watching this. It's a pretty good movie. Nice monologues.

- (PS4): Yakuza 0 -- If I lived in the world of Yakuza... I'd most likely be an NPC for a substory who would later turn out to have a slightly more prominent role in the later games... as Majima's admire-from-a-distance fangirl! XD <3 I loved this game to bits, and I will totally blog about it at least one more time, hahaha.- (PS4): Yakuza Kiwami -- I was trying my best to pace myself with this series, but I ended up I starting Kiwami a few days after finishing 0. The story felt a bit slow in the beginning, but overall it was a very enjoyable game. I'll be blogging about this as well at some point!
