BLOG -- Recap of April

April was both uneventful and eventful.

Outings / Events in April:

- Went to St. Catherine's for a day to attend a birthday party. We were there 1 day before the eclipse and did not stay over (i.e. we did not view the eclipse from there)

- Had a board game session with my sister, her husband, and my boyfriend. It was fun.

- Bought a yearly gym membership -- time to bulk up my muscles! :)

- Switched my phone plan to something cheaper but offered more data (that I don't need). Unfortunately I was not receiving text messages for about a week when porting my phone number. Everything's working fine now.

- My grandmother passed away a few days ago. The wake will be tomorrow. I'm glad I got to see her again before she passed.

- (Movie): Pompeii -- It was okay.

- (Movie): Papillon (2017) -- It was well-acted.

- (Movie): I, Frankenstein -- Cheesy.

- (Movie): Spotlight -- It was so good I watched it about five times... the subject matter is really heartbreaking, especially finding out that it was based off actual events.

- (Movie): The Call -- Pretty weak.

- (Movie): Smile -- It made me uneasy at times.

- (Movie): The Roommate -- Not good.

- (Movie): Circle -- It was predictable at times.

- (Movie): You've Got Mail -- It had its moments.

After multiple server maintenances, I was finally able to log into Blue Archive and get this character. I've never watched A Certain Scientific Railgun, but I just wanted her. It took me 180 rolls.

I pitied this one.

This was cute for an April Fool's thing.

A friend poked me to go on FGO to claim a 4-star character. I kinda stopped playing FGO for a few weeks after getting burnt out by the repetitive combat system.

Hatsune Miku landed in Puzzle and Dragons, and my boyfriend helped me beat the dungeon that gave me all the Hatsune Miku characters.

"Worst MMO Ever? - Granado Espada" by Josh Strife Hayes.

I've been meaning to play this MMO for a long time now. After this video, I'm not sure if I will.
