August was a lot busier than July. I anticipate September being very busy as well, especially during the weekends.
Outings / Events in August:
- Had a new place warming / birthday celebration with my LINE friends. We played a couple games and did a lot of chatting. It was fun.
- Had lunch with my father, my boyfriend, and my boyfriend's father. The fathers pretty much talked amongst each other.
- Watched StephenGeorg do his first subathon. His subathon lasted for two days but I was only able to watch for one day. It was a hilarious and enjoyable experience. My most favourite part was when he played Heavy Rain for the first time. If you are curious:
- Did an escape room with my boyfriend and a couple friends. The premise was interesting, but the pacing was kinda slow.
- Attended a wedding. It was really nice and sweet. The groom's dad was very funny with his speech.
Exposures:
- (PC): It Takes Two -- I tried this with my boyfriend. The story was okay, but I didn't enjoy the gameplay much. I might end up watching a playthrough in the future just to see the story.Finished...
Watching:
- (Movie): MaXXXine -- It's decent.
- (Anime): Hellsing Ultimate -- It was okay.
Playing:
- (PS4): Borderlands 2 -- I finally finish playing this game. I restarted it with my boyfriend. It was fun, but I didn't care for the driving. I palyed the Mechromancer class.- (PS4/PS5): Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy -- It was okay, but pretty long.

That's it for August. Here are some pics and a screenshot I took this month plus a YouTube video.
A breakfast combo I had at Ikea.
Some yummy Vietnamese food I had after doing the escape room.
I thought this was a very unique thing at the wedding reception. When you pick up the receiver, an answering machine-like message plays and you can really leave an audio message. I left a message though I forgot to say my name ^^;
Yay, my first A rank in Umamusume. I don't know how I did it. I haven't been able to get another A rank since.
"Bill Hader's DVD Picks" by CRITERION.
One of my friends told me about the Criterion mobile closet (a van full of Criterion movies) coming to TIFF and he sent me a video of some celebrities picking out movies. I thought Bill Hader's picks were hilarious, especially with what he said about them. PSST -- he is being VERY sarcastic with the two movies that he says are great "date movies"!
Thanks for reading!
For those celebrating Labour Day tomorrow, Happy Labour Day! :)
As usual, if you have any questions / comments about anything, feel free.
