February was pretty uneventful except for a few days. I had a Criterion subscription that expired early in the month and an Amazon Prime subscription that expired later in the month, so there was a lot of movie watching.

I suspect that March is going to be a busier month with other things.

Outings / Events in February:

- Celebrated my 3 year anniversary with my boyfriend. We bought some burgers and Japanese cream buns. Something else happened a couple days before the anniversary but I'm not saying what right now. *wink*

- Made some chocolates for Valentine's Day.

- Spontaneously decided to watch a 3-hour movie in theatres. I initially thought I was going to miss the movie due to the long runtime not lining up with my schedule, but it worked out for just one day.

Watching:

- (Movie): A Better Tomorrow III: Love & Death in Saigon -- It wasn't as good as the first two movies.

- (Movie): Hostel: Part II -- I liked the last 5-ish minutes.

- (Movie): Wrong Turn (2021) -- This was different from what I was anticipating and in a good way.

- (Movie): The Killer (2024) -- This is the remake of John Woo's 1989 film. It was okay.

- (Movie): Ginger Snaps II: Unleashed -- I didn't like this, but the acting was good.

- (Movie): Terrifier -- Too gory for me.

- (Movie): The Brutalist -- It was long but well done.

- (Movie): Puss in Boots -- It was okay.

- (Movie): The Wild Robot -- This was great.

- (Movie): Kokuho -- It was long, but I enjoyed this a lot. The performances were wonderful and the whole world was fascinating.

- (Movie): Bugonia -- I enjoyed this a lot, too.

- (Movie): Love Hurts -- Very messy and cheesy. It was nice seeing Ke Huy Quan, though.

- (Series): Marry My Husband -- The premise was interesting, but parts of it was too much. Also, the main guy looks better in glasses in my opinion.

This is what I made for Valentine's Day. It's chocolate-dipped banana that's been put in the freezer. The banana has an interesting texture after it freezes.

It'll be a long while before I get to playing this but I'm happy to have it, despite whatever dramas are going around about it.

These are peanut treats that are sold only during Chinese New Year. I've been wanting to eat them for the past two years but kept forgetting to look for them when the time came. I'm glad I got them this year.

I tried pulling for Valentine Mihono Bourbon and I ended up getting her on the 200th pull! You can pity after doing 200 pulls, so getting another new uma would have been better. I'm glad I got Valentine Eishin Flash along the way as well as all the other new umas.

"I'm going to be giving a TED Talk" by Josh Strife Says. I'm so curious what it would be about! I hope the Ted talk gets uploaded in the future.
