BLOG -- Recap of January

Most of January was spent at home while I was still recovering from a cough. I've also been experiencing some pain in my left arm for the past some days. When will these aches end? =_=+

Outings / Events in January:

- My boyfriend went to the US for a work trip for a week so I stayed up really late and watched movies and played video games.

- Went to Mandarin with my sister and my boyfriend at the Yonge-Eglinton location before it closed down. I ran into an old co-worker while I was there.

- The day after the snowstorm I went downtown to a doctor's appointment. The subway wasn't working for certain stops and the shuttle buses were packed, so I walked the rest of the way. It took over an hour and my legs felt like jelly afterwards.

- My PS Plus subscription expired after being subscribed for over 10 years. I may re-sub again but more likely if there is a sale, 'cuz paying over $100 a year is way too expensive in my opinion.

Watching:

- (Movie): Belle de Jour -- I didn't really enjoy it.

- (Movie): Yes Man -- Some of the ideas were interesting but it was an odd movie.

- (Movie): The Blob (1958) -- It was okay for its time.

- (Movie): Showgirls -- I was expecting some nudity but not that much nudity.

- (Movie): What Other Couples Do -- I didn't like it.

- (Movie): Spring Breakers -- A very sensual and dark movie.

- (Movie): Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky -- It was very over the top.

- (Movie): Together -- It was okay.

- (Movie): The Rules of the Game (1939) -- It didn't do much for me.

- (Anime): Umamusume: Pretty Derby -- I enjoyed the world and the emotions.

- (Anime): Umamusume: Cinderella Gray -- This was great.

- (PS4): Beyond: Two Souls -- The controls were clunky but some of the story points were interesting.

- (PC): Depixtion: Halloween Edition -- I finished this way too fast.

- (PS5): A Plague Tale: Requiem -- It was kinda slow at parts but the story was good.

I tried making some banana-walnut brownies (with pecans on top). They were pretty good. We tried making another batch yesterday mixing both walnuts and pecans and it tasted better.

The line to get into Mandarin.

The first blu-ray I bought for the year. Lili is a strange movie but I enjoy the music and some of the concepts.

I got these while trying to pull for Christmas Oguri.

And she came at 100 pulls!

I got these while trying to pull for New Year Haru. About half of them are duplicates, but I'm happy I got T.M. Opera and Narita Taishin.

I had to pity Haru in the end.

I finally get a 3-star during the free 10 pulls, and it's Dober!
